    My wife and I were excited to work with Home Sweet Home. They seemed attentive and very optimistic about getting us a place. Once we get there they stated that we needed to complete an application, do a credit check and oh 600 bucks which would go towards the realtors fee (all before even seeing a property). We trusted them, the manager Theresa was VERY adamant about us looking at a particular property and stated that she knew the landlord personally and that the place was ours. After we looked at the place, we loved it and they told us that we were approved. Then they came back and said that we needed to write a check for the security deposit and first months rent and sign a lease. It all happened really fast and we were shocked that we were approved so fast! Fast forward two days later, they told us that we were not approved. Wasted our time, took 80 bucks from our fee for their credit check fee and just didn’t seem to care. Our realtor was Mallory, she was sweet and new to the agency. We suggested that she find a real realtor agency to work for, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!!

  • Review of "Liberty Montessori Schools" at Mamaroneck

    I had my children in Liberty Montessori for years, and it was really hard to pull them out because of our move. I've looked at many Montessori's near our new home, and there is absolutely nothing like this school. It is superior in every way and beyond all measure...and this is not hyperbole. I've observed it first hand. The nurturing, loving teachers; a wonderful founder; nurturing of creativity and awareness; children challenged to push ahead while being loved and supported. My children knew and performed songs in Spanish, French, and Japanese; performed elaborate programs; parents came in to teach about their different cultures with show and tell items, food, stories, etc. This was in Pre-K and K. Ms. Jagoda is in two words a fabulous woman. The environment she has created for the children and their parents is unbelievable. No constant fundraising, etc. or extravagant "donations". You will love this place. Only when you go away from it will you realize how special it is.
